Hello, my name is Nikki. I am a fine artist and a book lover. I draw and paint, and I read literature that ignites my imagination and informs my art.
Dite & Patra is a literary fine art house devoted to the intersection of beauty, imagination, and intellect.
What began as a passion and personal exploration of books gradually became something more: a place where stories, ideas, and visual expression could live alongside one another. It became a space where reading inspires creation, and art becomes another way of telling stories.
At its heart, Dite & Patra is built around archetypes and atmosphere—the intellectual, the romantic, the visionary. These two archetypal voices, Dite and Patra, are complementary sensibilities. They are two ways of experiencing literature, imagination, and beauty, and guide the tone of the work shared here and the collections that emerge from it. The result is a space that values imagination as much as intellect.
Dite (pronounced DYE-tee) represents the luminous and romantic. Her world is whimsical, poetic, and full of mythic wonder — the side of literature that enchants, stirs emotion, and invites us into dreamlike landscapes of imagination.
Patra (pronounced PAH-truh) embodies the reflective and intellectual. Her realm is atmospheric, contemplative, and layered — the side of literature that provokes thought, explores complexity, and lingers long after the final page.
Together, they shape the aesthetic and editorial voice of the site. For collectors, readers, and those drawn to thoughtful aesthetics, Dite & Patra offers a curated and intentional world to explore.

The Library
The Library is the foundation of Dite & Patra.
Here you will find the books that inspire the work, shape the imagination, and quietly inform the aesthetic language of this space. The Library is not simply a list of titles—it is a curated record of stories, ideas, and authors that linger long after the final page.
For those who believe that art begins with thought, the Library is where that journey starts.
The Atelier
The Atelier is the creative heart of Dite & Patra.
It is where collections are housed and can be viewed. Finished works all emerge from this private creative space, guided by literary inspiration and an evolving visual language. Twice each year, a curated collection of original fine art is presented: a spring collection guided by Dite, and a fall collection guided by Patra. Each body of work is conceived in response to the themes, imagery, and emotional landscapes found in the books that inspired it.
The Atelier also offers collectors a glimpse into the thoughts and inspirations behind the collections. Each piece is created deliberately and released in small, considered series, designed to reward those who value imagination, craftsmanship, and thoughtful curation.
The Shop
The Shop is where selected numbered prints and limited edition prints become available to collectors.
Pieces offered here are professional, archival quality, giclée prints.
Dite & Patra remains, above all, a personal project—one shaped by a lifelong love of stories, aesthetics, and the quiet power of beautiful art thoughtfully made.

Our Mission
“Dite” and “Patra” refer to the Greek goddess, Aphrodite, and the Egyptian queen, Cleopatra.
Aphrodite was the goddess of love, passion, and beauty. Here in The House of Dite & Patra we fully embrace love stories, and strive to add love, romance, passion, and beauty into the world through the art that we make and the stories that we read. Cleopatra was an intelligent, strong, and powerful ruler in a world where the odds were against her. We hope that our curated world can serve as a resource for inspiration and stories featuring growth, strength of character, and adventure, as we navigate life through the eyes of our favorite main characters and reflect on the wisdom from our favorite stories.
