Hi I’m Nikki, and welcome to Dite & Patra!
I’m a fine artist, an illustrator, and a book lover. I’m a mood reader and admittedly obsess over books for their cover art just as much as their content! Although I enjoy a variety of genres, my favorites are romance and romantasy. (Who doesn’t love witty banter and a good slow-burn?) I am also the founder of Dite & Patra.
My hope is for Dite & Patra to inspire your imagination, and to encourage you to explore new perspectives.
Dite & Patra is dedicated to mood readers who love romance and fantasy books. Whether you prefer light-hearted rom-coms and heart-wrenching contemporary romance books, or epic romantic fantasy adventures and dark romance reads with a dash of spice, Dite & Patra is for you. My goal is for the DP community to grow and reach other like-minded creatives and readers, and to become a comfortable place to share in the fun!

Our Mission
“Dite” and “Patra” refer to the Greek goddess, Aphrodite, and the Egyptian queen, Cleopatra.
Aphrodite was the goddess of love, passion, and beauty. Here on the blog, we fully embrace love stories, and strive to add love, romance, passion, and beauty into the world through the art that we make and the stories that we read. Cleopatra was an intelligent, strong, and powerful ruler in a world where the odds were against her. We hope this blog can serve as a resource for stories featuring growth, strength of character, and confidence, as we journey through new worlds and explore through the eyes of our favorite main characters.

A Note About Our Rebrand
Up until now, Dite & Patra has mainly focused on food and lifestyle topics. These posts will still be available to you in our section called “Past Posts.” This can be found in the Contents drop-down menu in the sidebar. As we have grown and evolved since our inception, our focus has as well. From this point on, Dite & Patra posts will be decided on and written through an artist’s and a reader’s lens. We look forward to further exploring our passions with you!
